The role
As a Quality Assurance Officer at our client company, you will help safeguard and continuously improve quality. You will be part of a quality team, work with colleagues across different areas of the organisation and report to the department manager.
Key responsibilities
- Further develop the quality policy with the team and translate it into clear guidelines, procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure that the quality management system (QMS) operates in line with ISO 9001.
- Conduct internal quality audits and external audits at suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain guidelines, procedures, work instructions and forms.
- Instruct and support QMS users and act as their first point of contact.
- Monitor legal developments that may affect the quality policy and advise on them.
- Analyse deviations in products and processes and initiate improvement actions, including actions related to customer satisfaction and complaints.
What you bring
- HBO-level working and thinking ability in a relevant field.
- Relevant training as an internal or external (lead) auditor.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification.
- Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001 and QMS management.
- Strong communication skills, tact and the ability to bring others on board with quality improvements.
- An independent, analytical and proactive approach.
- A structured and accurate way of working, with an innovative mindset.
- Command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
