The role
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you coordinate and carry out quality activities within the quality management system. You combine hands-on work with advice, identify opportunities for improvement, and advise on quality criteria and process changes. You contribute to product release decisions in coordination with operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits across different business areas, document findings clearly and define improvement actions.
- Set up corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans and guide root cause analyses.
- Maintain and improve the quality management system with process owners and a QMS working group.
- Collect and analyze KPI data and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Support certification processes for standards such as ISO 9001, and guide internal and external audits and customer inspections.
- Maintain contact with suppliers and contribute to process changes and the review of quality criteria.
- Use ERP and QMS systems, data analysis tools and spreadsheet software. Gather data through system integrations and manually.
Collaboration
You coordinate daily with production, engineering, supply chain and management, and work with process owners and other colleagues in multidisciplinary teams.
