The role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer with a client company in aviation in Raamsdonksveer, Noord-Brabant, you help ensure the quality and reliability of products and processes. You conduct internal and external quality and process audits, including special-process audits, in line with the audit plan, Part 21 and POE procedures, and customer requirements.
What you will do
- Support the review and development of internal processes to obtain or maintain customer and regulatory approvals.
- Prepare quality plans and keep them up to date throughout customer contracts.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions related to products and processes.
- Adjust processes and revise procedures when needed to meet standards and legislation.
- Guide suppliers through the production of first articles, working with purchasing and research and development.
- Maintain a group of suppliers through audits and product inspections.
- Work with production, quality and engineering to identify improvements needed to maintain compliance with Part 21 and POE procedures.
- Support audits carried out by customers and external regulatory parties.
What you bring
- An engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in aviation.
- Data-analysis and complex problem-solving skills.
- Active listening and communication skills.
- Strong written English, particularly when preparing written instructions.
- Knowledge of EASA regulations and quality-system standards such as AS9100.
- Good computer skills in a Windows environment.
- Willingness to travel to visit authorities, customers and suppliers.
