The role
As a Quality Assurance Assistant, you champion hygiene and safety as part of the quality team. You maintain and update the quality system, make changes and suggest improvements. You record complaints and incidents in the system and ensure appropriate follow-up. Working with the QA manager, you take on a range of projects to further develop the quality system and help ensure that meals meet quality requirements.
Work environment
You work in a dynamic production environment and have close contact with production management. The current quality team has three members. The role is based in Oude-Tonge, Zuid-Holland.
What you bring
- A completed vocational or higher-level qualification in the food sector (MBO/HBO level).
- Knowledge of specification and label management, quality systems (IFS), certification schemes (BLK and ASC/MSC), HACCP, legislation and production processes in the food industry.
- Candidates with relevant internship experience only may also apply if they have the appropriate qualification.
- A positive, proactive and problem-solving approach.
- The ability to set priorities and work on projects.
- Motivation to work part-time and a willingness to learn.
