Lead QHSE in a project-based organization, improve ISO processes, oversee construction-site quality and bring teams together. 32–40 hours per week; €6,000–€7,000 per four-week period.
The role
At our client organization in Volendam, you will lead quality, health, safety and environmental management within a project-based organization. You will combine coordination and process improvement with attention to work quality on construction sites.
- Set up the quality management system and maintain and improve internal processes in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Monitor the quality of work on construction sites and lead the quality controller.
- Ensure that requirements, rules and applicable legislation for safety, health and the environment are implemented.
- Act as the first point of contact for incidents, play a key role in emergencies and lead initiatives that promote safe working.
- Prepare the organization for audits, interpret reports and make decisions.
- Bring stakeholders together to develop practical, lasting solutions.
You will be part of the management team, report directly to senior management and work closely with project managers and colleagues responsible for quality and safety on projects. You may lead a team on specific projects; the core of the role is independent coordination focused on developing and professionalizing QHSE.
Your profile
- HBO+ level of working and thinking.
- Experience in a project-based organization; construction experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of quality and safety processes and ISO standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Ability to interpret reports and confidence in making decisions.
- A proactive, solution-oriented, connecting and process-focused approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to bring people along.
What is offered
- 32–40 hours per week.
- Salary of €6,000–€7,000 per four-week period, with 13 payments per year, plus 8% holiday allowance.
- Employment conditions under the Dutch construction collective agreement (CAO Bouw), including 40 days of annual leave. Also included are a pension plan and a mobility scheme with a leased car or mobility budget.
