The role
As QHSE Manager, you are responsible for continuously improving quality, safety, health and environmentally responsible working practices. This is an independent, varied role in a modern production environment in Rijssen, manufacturing paper and plastic packaging and printed products. Production runs continuously.
You work with colleagues in quality and development. You directly manage a quality employee and a laboratory technician and report to operational management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the management systems.
- Manage the workplace risk assessment and ensure action items are followed up.
- Encourage colleagues to build a strong food safety culture.
- Advise management on the further development of QHSE policy.
- Conduct and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Prepare and maintain the energy-efficiency plan and emergency plan, as well as the annual safety objectives.
