The role
As QHSE Manager at our client company in Losser (Overijssel), you advise on and implement quality and environmental policy. You coordinate the development and maintenance of the quality system, promote continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with standards, requirements and legislation. You also take on the role of prevention officer.
Your responsibilities
- Advise different departments and develop, implement and monitor procedures and standards.
- Organise internal audits, support external audits and inspections, and ensure employees are qualified to conduct internal audits.
- Decide whether products are approved or rejected based on quality checks, and ensure measuring equipment is calibrated periodically.
- Lead and coach your team, hold work meetings and competency-related and other discussions, and support your employees. Promote quality awareness and work with different disciplines to make improvements.
What you bring
- HBO/WO-level education with a relevant background in quality, safety, the environment, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Experience in quality improvement and knowledge of TQM, SPC, Six Sigma and ISO standards.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
