Help strengthen safety and quality across infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Combine site visits with office work in Zwolle; work 32–40 hours per week for €3,500–€5,000 gross per month.
The role
At our client company, you will help strengthen the safety culture and quality-focused way of working across infrastructure and civil engineering projects. You will work between project sites in the region, the office in Zwolle and occasional home working. About half of your working time is spent on projects; the rest is office-based or occasionally from home.
You will join a close-knit quality and safety team and provide operational support to the Safety Business Partner. You will help colleagues shift from reacting to issues to identifying and preventing risks early.
Your responsibilities
- Act as the regional point of contact for colleagues on safety and relevant regulations.
- Translate new developments into practical ways of working.
- Contribute during estimating and tendering by reviewing client requirements, identifying risks and opportunities, and assessing feasibility.
- Advise project teams from the work-preparation stage and support the preparation and review of health and safety plans.
- Carry out workplace inspections and management observations at project sites, together with project teams or the client.
- Handle quality and safety notifications carefully, follow up on improvements, prepare reports, identify trends and share findings with the team and region.
What you bring
- HBO-level working and thinking ability and a completed MVK qualification in Dutch intermediate safety.
- At least two years’ experience in a comparable safety and quality role.
- Experience in infrastructure or civil engineering is an advantage.
- Availability for at least 32 hours per week.
- The ability to engage and motivate people, think ahead and identify risks early.
