As QHSE Coordinator in Barendrecht, you will embed safety, health, environmental and quality requirements in day-to-day operations. You will investigate incidents, carry out inspections and drive improvements. Full-time, with a gross monthly salary of €3,034.77–€4,600.
The role
At our client company in Barendrecht, South Holland, you will ensure that quality, health, safety and environmental requirements are systematically embedded and demonstrably followed. You will translate legislation, regulations and standards into practical measures and embed them in processes and working practices. You will contribute to complex QHSE matters and help manage risks and deliver improvements. You will work with the QHSE team and liaise with employees on site, customers and regulatory authorities.
What you will do
- Prepare annual QHSE plans, action plans and management reports, and monitor progress and delivery.
- Coordinate and further develop the internal emergency response organization.
- Independently conduct incident investigations, including root cause analysis (RCA).
- Carry out workplace inspections and safety rounds, analyse findings, and provide tailored advice to operations and management.
- Develop and deliver toolbox talks, training and e-learning to support awareness and behaviour change.
- Identify, initiate and implement lasting improvements to processes, working methods, and the safety and quality culture.
What you bring
- HBO-level work and thinking.
- IVK, MVK or HVK is an advantage.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in QHSE, safety or quality management.
- Demonstrable experience in incident investigations, RCA methods and improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, VCA or comparable standards.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Category B driving licence.
What is offered
- Full-time work under a one-year fixed-term contract, with the intention of offering a permanent contract afterwards.
- Gross salary of €3,034.77–€4,600 per month on a full-time basis, depending on experience and knowledge and in accordance with the collective labour agreement for professional road freight transport.
