The role
For our client company, you will work independently as a QHSE Coordinator on projects in construction, infrastructure and ground, road and water engineering. You will help make safe working practices and environmental awareness part of everyday work on site. You will coordinate with site managers and project colleagues, engage people at different levels in working safely, and have a team of colleagues to turn to for support.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare health and safety plans (V&G).
- Conduct workplace inspections.
- Maintain certifications.
- Investigate incidents.
- Work with site managers and project colleagues.
- Promote safety awareness.
What you bring
- Several years of experience as a safety professional, QHSE or KAM employee.
- At least an MVK diploma.
- A strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and a pragmatic, independent approach.
- Flexibility to work on projects across the Netherlands.
- A category B driving licence.
- A good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- An existing network and initiative in finding projects are an advantage.
- Experience in Seveso or BRZO environments is an advantage.
