The role
As a QC employee at our client company in Sevenum, you monitor quality throughout processing, from raw materials to finished goods. You work to procedures, product specifications and HACCP requirements, while also using your own observations.
- Check product quality and production processes, as well as personal hygiene, safety and workplace cleanliness.
- Monitor production from raw materials through to finished products.
- Check that cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed.
- Visually assess product quality and composition.
- Verify the quality checks carried out by production staff.
- Report deviations and discuss corrective action with production teams and department management.
- Carry out daily quality rounds in cold rooms, production areas and dispatch.
- Assess reported quality problems and determine whether products still meet the requirements.
- Flag issues relating to safety, occupational health and the environment.
- Conduct internal audits on foreign-body contamination, hygiene and other HACCP-related topics.
Working hours
The role is 38 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Depending on the department, shifts include days and nights. Weekend work may also be required, so flexibility is important.
What you bring
- A completed vocational qualification at MBO level.
- A qualification in food or food technology is an advantage.
- Experience in the fresh produce sector is preferred.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Knowledge of chilled fresh convenience products and food safety is an advantage.
- A proactive, quality-focused approach and good communication skills.
- The ability to work accurately, responsibly and independently, with a hands-on attitude.
- Attention to detail, a critical outlook and the confidence to address others about issues.
