As QC laboratory manager and team coach, you will lead and develop the QC laboratory team in Gorinchem. You will plan and coordinate laboratory analyses and other lab activities. The role is on the day shift.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and develop the QC laboratory team.
- Coach, guide and train employees.
- Manage absenteeism and hold performance review and development conversations.
- Continuously improve processes and quality assurance.
- Plan and coordinate laboratory analyses and activities.
- Report on laboratory performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
What you bring
- A completed degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a related field at HBO level or higher.
- At least five years of experience in a QC leadership role in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of analytical techniques, quality control and relevant regulations.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent Dutch, both spoken and written.
- A pragmatic, results-oriented and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
