Join a QC laboratory in Olst as a Chemical Analyst. Perform release testing on raw materials and active ingredients using methods including HPLC, GC and titration. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
The role
As a QC Chemical Analyst, you will work in an incoming materials laboratory within Quality Control in Olst, Overijssel. You will analyse samples of raw materials and active ingredients and support their assessment and release. The laboratory also tests packaging materials and manages samples. You will follow the quality system's procedures to help maintain product and process quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform release testing of raw materials and active ingredients using HPLC, GC, titrations, LOD, FT-IR, NIR and a range of wet-chemistry tests.
- Complete equipment maintenance and qualification activities on time.
- Keep laboratory stock records up to date.
- Contribute to QC investigations and projects, coordinating with other departments where necessary.
- Identify issues and suggest improvements to QC activities.
Working hours
Full-time, 40 hours per week. A specific working-time pattern or shift schedule has not been stated.
What you bring
- At least a chemical laboratory qualification at Dutch MBO level 3 or 4.
- Experience with HPLC, GC and titration is an advantage.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with GMP are preferred.
- Experience working with different pharmacopoeias is an advantage.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
