The role
As a QC Analyst, you independently perform chemical and instrumental analyses in an analytical laboratory in Wormerveer. You follow current instructions and procedures, testing raw materials, different process stages and finished products, and supporting other analytical activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical, wet-chemical and instrumental analyses, including ICP, GC and HPLC.
- Carry out checks on time, record data accurately in reporting and administration software, and communicate your findings.
- Contribute to improvement projects and suggest ways to improve procedures and the working environment.
- Follow GMP and HACCP guidelines and maintain a clean, safe and hygienic workplace.
Shift pattern
Flexibility is required for a two-shift system with day, early and afternoon shifts. The rota also includes periodic weekend work, and you must be willing to work nights.
What you bring
- At least an MBO level 4 qualification in Analytical Chemistry.
- Knowledge of modern analytical techniques, including physical and wet-chemical methods, ICP, GC and HPLC.
- Experience with reporting and administration software.
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Flexibility for shift work and willingness to work nights.
