The role
Our client company in Cuijk, Noord-Brabant, is seeking a QA/QC Officer to support quality control in food production. You will work closely with the Operations team and help ensure that processes meet internal and external quality and food safety standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out quality checks on raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products.
- Analysing product samples.
- Monitoring and reporting deviations, and advising on corrective actions.
- Monitoring compliance with food safety standards, including BRC.
- Supporting internal audits and preparing for external audits.
- Helping improve quality and food safety processes.
- Training the Operations team on quality and hygiene standards.
What you bring
- A completed MBO or HBO qualification, preferably in food technology.
- Experience in a similar role in the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety systems and relevant legislation and regulations, including HACCP, BRC and IFS.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
- A team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.
- A structured way of working, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
