The role
You will work as a QA/QC Inspector for our client company in the steel construction sector in Terneuzen. You advise and support different departments on quality and technical issues. You investigate and follow up on deviations, identify opportunities for improvement, assess the quality of work, and approve or reject work where appropriate. You initiate corrective actions when needed.
You maintain the quality management system, manage welding qualifications and support welding coordination. You also organize toolbox meetings on quality and welding technology. You work daily with operational teams and report to the QHSE Manager.
Working hours and schedule
This is a full-time role based in Terneuzen. No specific shift pattern is stated.
What you bring
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify deviations.
- At least Dutch MBO level 4 working and thinking level.
- Experience with welding technology and steel structures.
- Knowledge of EN 1090 and an IWT/IWS diploma.
- Willingness to complete relevant training and courses.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
