Manage and verify food-product specifications and labels in a temporary QA role in Warmenhuizen, 24 hours per week. The indicated salary of €2,900–€3,400 per month is based on full-time hours.
The role
In this temporary role, you will help ensure that food-product specifications and labels are complete and accurate. You will join the QA team and coordinate with the Purchasing and Commercial teams, as well as suppliers.
- Enter specification data and check it in the internal specification system and customer systems.
- Check purchasing specifications against the applicable requirements.
- Review finished-product labels for food safety, legislation and customer requirements.
- Maintain finished-product specifications, discuss specification data with suppliers and ensure it is registered correctly.
- Support the QA department with a range of tasks.
The two employees responsible for specification management and labelling work closely together and share knowledge. You report to the QA Team Leader.
What you bring
- MBO+ level (Dutch vocational education) and relevant vocational training, for example in nutrition, food technology, food science or nutrition and quality.
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
- A KTBA certificate in Labelling, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- You work accurately and methodically, focus on quality and pay close attention to detail. You remain effective under pressure and are communicative, service-minded, flexible and reliable.
- You act with integrity, listen well, work collaboratively and are confident making decisions. You keep up with developments in your field, learn continuously and work on your professional development. You can become independently effective quickly.
What is offered
- A temporary position for at least eight months and up to one year, for 24 hours per week.
- Salary of approximately €2,900–€3,400 per month on a full-time basis, under the collective labour agreement for the vegetable and fruit processing industry.
- On a full-time basis: 25 days of annual leave and 9.5 ADV days. A pension scheme and a year-end payment are also provided.
