As a QA Officer in Papendrecht, you will support food safety, sustainability and environmental care. The role includes external and internal audits, procedure improvement, regulatory monitoring, certification checks and product testing. 32–40 hours per week.
The role
As a QA Officer, you will work closely with the QA Advisor to ensure and further develop the QA policy relating to food safety, sustainability and the environment. The position is based in Papendrecht, South Holland, and covers 32–40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Support external audits and conduct internal audits.
- Use audit findings to improve procedures.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and check certifications.
- Coordinate product testing and serve as the supplier contact for food-safety matters.
- Work with the team to keep business-contact and product records up to date and maintain various portals.
What you bring
- Working and thinking level equivalent to Dutch HBO (higher professional education), plus a completed qualification in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm, accuracy and the ability to set priorities in an ad hoc environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems.
