QA Officer at our client company in Nieuw-Vennep. You will maintain the quality manual, handle complaints and conduct internal audits and site inspections. Required: HBO diploma, knowledge of BRC, IFS and FSSC 22000, and Dutch and English. Food-sector education or experience is preferred.
The role
As a QA Officer, you will work in the QA/QC team at our client company in Nieuw-Vennep. You will keep the quality manual up to date and contribute to quality and sustainability activities in the food sector.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain the quality manual and keep it up to date.
- Handle complaints.
- Attend quality-related meetings and be part of the HACCP team.
- Contribute to sustainability projects.
- Complete questionnaires from customers and suppliers.
- Conduct internal audits and site inspections, and support external audits.
- Support, lead or participate in quality-related projects and activities.
What you bring
- A higher professional education (HBO) diploma. Food-related education and/or additional training or work experience in the food sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as BRC, IFS and FSSC 22000.
- The ability to set priorities and take action at the right time.
- A critical eye and a strong focus on checking and control; an organised, independent and accurate way of working.
- Strong communication skills at all levels, an independent working style and a no-nonsense approach.
- A proactive, results-oriented team player.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
