Maintain quality systems, support audits and deliver training in a day-shift QA role in Deurne. A relevant HBO-level degree and five years of experience in a similar position are required.
The role
You will work in a small, diverse team with an informal atmosphere, working together to maintain the required quality. You will keep the IFS and SKAL quality systems up to date and carry out organoleptic inspections with the team. The role is based in Deurne, Noord-Brabant.
Your responsibilities also include:
- Supporting the implementation of changes to processes, raw and auxiliary materials, packaging and finished products.
- Supporting internal and external audits conducted by certification bodies and (international) customers.
- Managing digital documentation and recording supplier and customer complaints.
- Helping ensure that housekeeping and cleanliness rules are followed in and around production.
- Delivering quality training, including on-the-job instruction and classroom HACCP training.
- Serving on the HACCP team and covering some of the QA/QC manager's duties in their absence.
What you bring
- A completed relevant HBO-level degree, such as Food Technology, Food & Business or a comparable field.
- Five years of experience in a similar role.
- A confident, grounded manner and strong communication skills.
- A thoughtful, solution-oriented and innovative approach.
- The ability to maintain an overview and think analytically.
- Confidence in speaking with customers and answering their questions.
- The ability to distinguish deviations in taste and smell.

Work is on the day shift. The contract is temporary, with the prospect of permanent employment subject to good performance.
