At our client company in Hoogeveen, you will oversee quality and food safety, lead QA/QC staff and manage the quality system. This 40-hour-per-week role offers flexible working hours and the option to work partly from home.
The role
As QA Manager, you are responsible for all quality-related matters at our client company. Together with your team, you ensure the organisation complies with legislation, certification schemes, customer requirements and internal standards. You identify and report deviations relating to quality and food safety. You also prepare for and guide audits.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with legislation, certification requirements, customer requirements and internal standards.
- Identify and report deviations relating to quality and food safety.
- Lead, coach and support the further development of QA and QC staff.
- Propose improvements to quality and food safety.
- Manage the quality management system.
- Coordinate and carry out internal and supplier audits.
- Draft procedures and work instructions, and maintain the quality manual.
- Carry out other duties related to quality.
Hours and location
The position is 40 hours per week, based at the office in Hoogeveen, Drenthe. Working hours are flexible, and partial home working is possible. Days off and working hours can also be arranged flexibly with notice in good time.
What you bring
- A completed higher professional education qualification (HBO), preferably in food technology.
- Leadership skills.
- The ability to speak Dutch and English.
