The role
As QA Manager at our client company in Kapelle, you will be responsible for food safety and product quality in the cultivation of fresh fruit and vegetables. You will be visible throughout the organization and lead by example with a constructive, quality-focused and coaching approach. You will also work with senior management on setting policy and ensuring it is embedded in the organization.
Your responsibilities
- Safeguard product quality throughout the process, in line with established standards and procedures.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular audits.
- Be part of the HACCP team and manage and maintain the HACCP plan.
- Lead the QA team and help colleagues work efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure products meet strict quality standards and contribute to customer satisfaction.
What you bring
- At least HBO-level professional working and thinking ability (Dutch higher professional education level).
- Work experience in QA, SHE, QESH or a comparable role.
- Management experience or the ambition to take on a leadership role.
- Knowledge of and experience with quality systems such as BRC, IFS, GlobalG.A.P. or PlanetProof.
- Experience with ICT systems and commonly used office software.
- An analytical, accurate and independent approach, with the initiative to get things done.
- An active interest in developments in the fresh produce sector.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
- A proactive, coaching approach to leadership.
