Take responsibility for the quality system in food production in Ittervoort. Lead the food safety team, coordinate audits and work closely with product development, quality control and production.
The role
As QA Manager, you will optimize, implement, operate and safeguard the quality system in food production, in line with the relevant BRC and FSMA requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor progress against objectives and the quality policy, and keep the organization informed.
- Conduct internal audits, support external audits and ensure deviations are handled correctly.
- Lead the food safety team and coordinate communication within the organization and with customers about deviations and improvements.
- Maintain the product records and specification system.
- Work closely with product development, quality control and production. The role involves working in the office as well as regularly in production and the laboratory.
What you bring
- You are a food technologist or food microbiologist.
- Several years of experience in quality assurance.
- Knowledge of BRC/IFS or FSCC 22000, as well as HACCP systems.
- Experience implementing and maintaining quality systems.
- Attention to detail, resilience and decisiveness, along with a passion for quality and leadership skills.
