As a full-time Process Technologist in Zierikzee, you will improve production processes, support trial runs and work on projects focused on quality, energy efficiency and yield. The package includes a market-aligned salary, an annual year-end bonus and additional leave.
The role
This is a full-time position in Zierikzee. As a Process Technologist, you will work with colleagues across R&D, Production, Technical Services and Engineering. You will report to the manager of the technical department and contribute to projects focused on quality, energy efficiency and process yield.
Your responsibilities
- Identify, document and manage process specifications.
- Lead process technology projects and act as a subject-matter expert in multidisciplinary projects, including product development and packaging.
- Provide input and carry out calculations for investment projects.
- Support trial production runs with product developers and operators, and prepare reports and recommendations.
- Carry out feasibility studies for innovative technologies and equipment.
- Assign processes and production lines to new products.
- Convert R&D recipes into production recipes and provide advice on them.
- Troubleshoot process disruptions and support efforts to resolve quality issues.
- Draft work procedures and instructions for the quality management system.
What you bring
- HBO-level work and thinking ability (Dutch higher professional education level), with education in process or food technology.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
- Proficiency with systems such as Power BI, MES, PLM and ERP.
- Experience with project-based work and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
- The ability to work across different organizational levels and a drive for continuous improvement.
