The role
At our client company in Zoetermeer, you will work as a Process Technologist and Process Engineer in beverage preparation and mixing operations. You will combine technical and product knowledge while supporting production in improving operating conditions. You will analyse and optimise existing process installations and contribute to their renewal, the engineering of new installations and investment projects. Your analyses and recommendations will be fact-based, with a focus on safety, quality, process manageability and efficiency. When process conditions deviate or unusual events or incidents occur, you will investigate the causes and identify an appropriate solution.
What you will do
- Assess process performance and report your findings.
- Conduct root-cause analyses of deviations and agree on actions with production, QA and technical services.
- Standardise technology-related work processes.
- Lead or contribute to improvement projects across engineering, technology, processes and products.
- Deliver investment projects in the process area.
- Prepare high-quality reports on completed projects.
- Work closely with production, quality and technical services.
What you bring
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role.
- At least Dutch hbo-level work-and-thinking capability, for example demonstrated by a completed higher professional or university degree in food technology, chemistry or biotechnology.
- Good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
- A pragmatic, application-oriented approach and a curious mindset.
- An understanding of technical processes and the relationship between product properties and their applications.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive and results-oriented approach, analytical ability and the ability to work as part of a team.
