Analyze and improve production processes, contribute to new process technologies and equipment, and carry out trial production runs and assigned projects. The position is based in Gorinchem.
The role
You analyze issues in production processes and propose improvements. You contribute to the development of new process technologies and new or adapted process equipment. Your work helps improve quality, increase productivity, and reduce raw-material and production costs.
You carry out trial production runs and set up programs to reduce losses, environmental impact, unsafe situations, and energy use. You also plan and deliver assigned projects, develop and document procedures, and map process steps in flowcharts that guide the control of successive production processes.
What you bring
- HBO/WO-level working and thinking ability in food technology, process technology, chemical technology, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the infant food sector is an advantage.
- Experience with data analysis and a model-based or mathematical approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of quality systems, hygienic design, HACCP, and production processes.
- The ability to communicate substantively and persuasively with people at different levels.
- An analytical, independent, and structured approach; the ability to maintain an overview, work well in a team, and find practical solutions.
