Work as a Process Technologist in Eemshaven, monitoring and improving production processes and installations. You will take measurements, analyse data and support improvements. No experience is required, but a degree in chemical or process technology is.
The role
As a Process Technologist, you will work in a research and development team to improve production processes and installations in Eemshaven, Groningen. You will collaborate with the technical services team, a technical drawing and work-preparation specialist, and another Process Technologist. The aim is to achieve the best possible results with minimal use of auxiliary materials, time and costs, while limiting the impact on people and the environment.
Your work includes:
- Monitoring the production process and contributing ideas for process expansions.
- Identifying process problems quickly and helping to resolve them.
- Optimising working methods and supporting the implementation of improvements.
- Conducting measurements, performing calculations and analysing research data.
- Advising the organisation and management, keeping up with relevant technological developments and sharing knowledge.
What you bring
- A completed higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) degree in chemical technology or process technology.
- An interest in industry, environmental issues and sustainability.
- A willingness to learn; previous experience is not required.
- An innovative, detail-oriented approach, strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, complex working environment.
- Applying for a Dutch Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is part of the recruitment process.
