The role
We are recruiting for our client company in Terneuzen for a physical laboratory technician in a production laboratory. You will support analytical and physical testing of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished goods, contributing to quality control.
You will prepare test bars using injection moulding machines and carry out physical tests, including impact, falling-dart and tensile tests.
What you will do
- Test incoming raw materials and finished products.
- Support production staff.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot technical faults.
- Contribute to reference and calibration programmes.
- Perform complex, non-routine laboratory work.
- Accurately collect, report and document technical data, and prepare reports from the results.
- Work with LIMS and proactively use analytical information and available statistical tools to identify process issues.
What you bring
- MBO level 4 education with 3–5 years of laboratory experience, or an HBO-level qualification such as HLO.
- An interest in quality and quality systems.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Safety awareness, analytical thinking and the ability to work as part of a team.
