Monitor safe work on a production floor in Montfoort. Conduct safety rounds, identify hazards and follow up on corrective measures. Full-time role; salary €3,000–€4,000 depending on experience.
The role
As an occupational safety supervisor, you will be visible on the production floor every day at a site in Montfoort, Utrecht. You will carry out and record safety rounds, observe tasks, and check that employees work safely in line with applicable rules, procedures and work instructions. You will also assess whether the work is safe in practice.
Your focus includes risks around lifting operations, machinery and work equipment, internal transport, and other production and assembly activities. You will inspect work areas and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), identify, assess and record unsafe situations and actions, and intervene when necessary.
You will address employees and subcontractors clearly and respectfully, give practical safety instructions and lead toolbox meetings. You will record incidents and near misses, follow up on reports and agreed corrective actions, and work with managers and the QHSE coordinator or adviser to manage risks and implement lasting improvements.
This is a full-time role. Exact weekly hours, working times, any shift pattern and the contract type are not specified.
