Prepare and extract soil and water samples in a Barneveld laboratory using automated systems. Work is in a day or evening shift.
The role
As a laboratory technician, you will work in a laboratory in Barneveld, Gelderland. Together with your team, you will prepare and extract soil and water samples. You will carry out pretreatment using various automated systems, including robotic systems. You will follow the procedures to determine which steps are required.
Your responsibilities
- Identify anything unusual and bring it to your supervisor’s attention.
- Use equipment correctly and report any problems to your supervisor.
- Handle materials and resources responsibly, taking care of your own safety and that of others in the laboratory.
- Keep your workspace tidy and ensure required materials are available.
Working hours
The work is scheduled in either a day shift or an evening shift.
What you bring
- Completed MLO training at level 3 or 4 in analytical and/or physical chemistry.
- An eye for opportunities to improve efficiency.
- The ability to work accurately for extended periods.
- The ability to set priorities independently.
- Good spoken and written Dutch.
- A committed, flexible, communicative, results-oriented and careful approach.
