The role
As a laboratory assistant, you prepare and process soil, water and air samples and distribute them for analysis. You support batch-based analytical processes with semi-automated workflows and work with several instrument stations and analytical capabilities.
You contribute to quality assurance, document results and deviations accurately, and follow established procedures. You track targets and deadlines, seek help promptly if delays may occur, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Work environment and schedule
You handle a wide variety of samples in relatively small volumes. The laboratory is located in Hoogvliet, Zuid-Holland. You work mainly with colleagues while also carrying out tasks independently. The schedule is a rotating three-shift pattern.
