Inspect incoming indoor and garden plants, monitor stock quality and coordinate deviations with purchasing and sales. A hands-on, 40-hour day-shift role in Honselersdijk, with working hours of about 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The role
At our client company in Honselersdijk, you assess incoming indoor and garden plants each day. You check whether they have sufficient moisture, their firmness and general condition, and spot discoloration, pests, damage and other deviations. Your checks help safeguard quality at the start of the process.
When a batch does not meet requirements, you discuss next steps with purchasing, such as returning it. You monitor stock quality and coordinate with sales on which plants are still saleable and what action is needed. Where appropriate, you help consider an adjusted selling price to limit waste. You also check labels, prices and product information, take photos for online product listings when needed, and liaise with colleagues across departments.
Schedule
You work 40 hours a week on a day shift. The workday starts around 7:30 a.m. and ends around 4:30 p.m. The role is active and hands-on, with much of your time spent in the plant hall rather than at a desk.
What you bring

- Good plant knowledge and the ability to assess whether a plant meets quality requirements.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot deviations early.
- The ability to work independently, take responsibility for inspections and speak up clearly when something is wrong.
- Clear communication and ease in coordinating with colleagues.
- Comfort with active, hands-on work in the plant hall.
- Good computer and systems skills.
What is offered
