The role
As an HSE Specialist at our client company in Zeewolde, you will work in a production environment. You will develop and implement policies on safety, health, wellbeing, working conditions and the environment. You will monitor implementation, evaluate results and advise the management team on HSE matters.
Responsibilities
- Serve as head of the site's workplace emergency response organization (BHV).
- Act as process owner for risk identification and evaluation (RI&E).
- Be the point of contact for authorities and external parties, and for audits and inspections.
- Build HSE awareness at every level of the organization and develop constructive working relationships, including with HR and the works council on working conditions.
- Propose, initiate, lead and deliver improvement projects in safety and sustainability.
What you bring
- At least HBO-level work and thinking skills, corresponding to Dutch higher professional education.
- Preferably, a relevant field of study, for example environmental studies, complemented by MVK or HVK.
- Experience as an HSE specialist or in another relevant HSE role.
- HSE experience at a GMP production site is preferred. Experience in a related industry, such as food or chemicals, is also welcome.
- You are friendly, diplomatic and sensitive to organizational dynamics.
- You communicate effectively across all levels and disciplines and can persuade and motivate others.
