The role
As HSE Project Manager, you lead a project-level team of three to four safety professionals. You are the point of contact for health, safety and the environment and support the project team in achieving objectives in these areas.
You build support, advise, assist and motivate project stakeholders to help create a safe, healthy and positive working environment. Together with the team, you communicate the HSE policy and help shape its vision.
Those responsible for HSE and QA/QC provide organisational support from the office, including policies, direction and associated tools. You will also join a wider group of around 15 safety professionals working across several projects. The group meets periodically to share experience and learn from one another. Time is allocated for your induction, with guidance available.
The role is based in Botlek Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland.
What you bring
- At least five years of experience as an HSE (project) manager or in a comparable role in an industrial environment.
- HBO-level working and thinking capability, demonstrated by a completed HVK qualification.
