The role
You will work as an HSE Officer in 's-Hertogenbosch, Noord-Brabant, with a strong presence on the work floor. Depending on your knowledge and skills, you will start at junior or senior level. If you start as a junior, you can progress to a senior role if your performance is good.
Responsibilities
- Act as the HSE department's first point of contact.
- Carry out safety rounds and workplace assessments, and monitor employees' compliance with procedures.
- Build safety awareness at every level through training and information sessions, and take part in safety meetings with team leaders and other managers.
- Support the risk inventory and evaluation (RI&E).
- Record accidents and ensure follow-up of accident analyses.
- Help ensure that the correct certifications are in place and that various installations operate properly.
What you bring
- HBO-level working and thinking ability (Dutch higher professional education level), combined with a practical mindset.
- Preferably, education and/or experience in safety and the environment.
- An interest in legislation and regulations relating to safety, occupational health and the environment.
- Technical insight and good communication skills.
- Preferably, experience with project-based work and a project-oriented approach.
