The role
Our client company is looking for an HSE Officer in Pannerden. You will connect HSE policy with day-to-day practice, remain visible on the shop floor and support the ongoing improvement of safety, processes and culture in an industrial production environment. You will work day shift, 32 to 40 hours per week.
What you will do
- Act as a first point of contact for colleagues at the site and support managers with operational HSE matters.
- Carry out safety walks, inspections and audits, and guide them where needed.
- Support incident investigations and follow up on improvement actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and help colleagues with them.
- Coach employees and managers on safe working practices.
- Help implement HSE standards, procedures and safety programmes.
- Deliver HSE briefings, training and toolbox talks.
- Monitor and report HSE performance, trends and actions.
- Guide colleagues during high-risk work.
What you bring
- A work-and-thinking level comparable to Dutch MBO vocational education.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
- An MVK diploma is an advantage.
- Several years of experience in an industrial environment are an advantage.
