Operational HSE role in Hardinxveld for 16–24 hours a week. You will follow up risk assessments, incidents and safety actions while supporting colleagues on site. Gross salary: €3,000–€4,000 per month on a full-time basis.
The role
At our client company, you will support the day-to-day implementation and follow-up of safety processes in a technical or industrial setting. The focus is operational: putting measures into practice, monitoring them and ensuring follow-up, rather than developing HSE strategy or company policy. You will be visible in the work areas and act as a link between colleagues and HSE management. The role is fully on site in Hardinxveld; remote work is not available.
What you will do
- Carry out, update and follow up risk assessments (RI&E) and task risk analyses (TRA), tracking improvement actions.
- Register, investigate and administratively follow up incidents, near misses and safety reports.
- Process, manage and monitor HSE actions, records and reports in an HSE management system.
- Manage hazardous substances, including the related records and documentation, and monitor compliance with applicable regulations.
- Support workplace inspections and safety rounds, and follow up the resulting actions.
- Promote safety awareness through toolbox talks, instructions, coaching and guidance.
What you bring
- A completed safety qualification at MBO 4 or HBO level, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in an operational HSE or safety role in a technical or industrial environment.
- Demonstrable experience with RI&E, TRA, incident investigations and hazardous-substance management.
- Experience with a comparable HSE management system is an advantage.
- A VCA-VOL certificate, or willingness to obtain one in the near term.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
- A practical approach, comfort working on site and the ability to address colleagues constructively about safe behaviour.
- Accuracy in record-keeping and follow-up; you are independent, proactive and organisationally aware.
- Availability for 16–24 hours a week and willingness to work entirely on site in Hardinxveld.
What is offered
- A part-time position for 16–24 hours per week.
- Gross salary of €3,000–€4,000 per month based on full-time employment, excluding holiday allowance. The exact salary level depends on your knowledge and experience.
- Annual leave and additional ADV days, holiday allowance, travel reimbursement and a pension scheme.
- Opportunities for professional and personal development.
