The role
As an HSE Officer in Hoek, you are responsible for implementing the EH&S management system at the site. You help achieve EH&S objectives and support activities relating to the environment, industrial hygiene, health and safety. This is a junior role, and you also act as a point of contact for less experienced team members.
Your responsibilities
- Implement detailed, task-based daily EH&S programmes using work processes, procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure that EH&S aspects of site operations are applied to help meet objectives.
- Support teams and individuals with EH&S tasks and activities.
- Help develop and achieve EH&S objectives for the site.
- Coordinate, collect and analyse environmental and industrial hygiene data.
What you bring
- Some experience in the chemical industry.
- A completed MVK qualification (Middelbare Veiligheidskunde) or an MBO level 3 or 4 diploma in EH&S or a technical field.
- Knowledge of Dutch and English.
- A strong focus on safety and teamwork, with the ability to keep an overview, work accurately, collaborate and plan.
