Our client company in Farmsum is seeking an HSE Officer to strengthen safety awareness, take part in audits and investigate incidents at a chemical production site. Permanent employment; gross monthly salary €3,983.33–€5,708.33.
The role
As an HSE Officer, you will work in the production environment of a chemical production site in Farmsum. You will strengthen HSE awareness by asking questions on the shop floor and checking that safety rules are followed. You will contribute to the annual HSE plan, including risk assessments and regulatory changes. You will also take part in HSE audits, investigate accidents involving personal injury, and follow QHSE guidelines and work instructions while monitoring compliance.
What you bring
- A completed HVK qualification, or an MVK qualification with at least 8 years of work experience.
- At least 3 years of comparable experience in chemical processes.
- Experience developing and delivering HSE training.
- Experience conducting incident investigations and working on change initiatives.
- Fluent Dutch and a good command of English.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and stay safety-focused and results-oriented.
- A strong personality, with the ability to build relationships and bring about changes in behaviour.
