As HSE Manager in Aarle-Rixtel, you will assess and control safety risks, develop action plans and training, and work with process engineering and production teams. Gross salary starts at €6,000 per month on a full-time basis.
The role
As HSE Manager, you identify and control safety risks across processes and systems. You carry out risk assessments, translate findings into preventive and corrective actions, assess risks by severity and likelihood, set priorities and prepare safety plans with action lists and deadlines. You also prepare and manage budgets for safety initiatives.
Working with process engineers, production teams and management, you integrate safety standards into day-to-day work. You develop and implement training to increase employees’ safety knowledge and awareness, monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and report progress to management. You also support safety leads at other sites in implementing the safety policy.

What you bring
- An HVK qualification or comparable education in occupational safety.
- Experience as a Safety Manager, HSE Manager or safety specialist. Candidates without previous management experience may also be considered if they have at least five years of HSE or safety experience in the manufacturing or process industry, within an organization with an established safety culture.
- Knowledge of Dutch occupational health and safety legislation and the Machinery Directive, and a willingness to keep this knowledge up to date and share it.
- In-depth knowledge of process engineering and safety management systems, plus experience with risk assessments and evaluations.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, an affinity for process engineering and a strong commitment to safety.
