Full-time, on-site HSE role in Enkhuizen. You will develop HSE policy, lead audits and incident investigations, and manage the ISO 45001 system. Requires at least five years’ HSE experience in production, MVK, and fluent Dutch and English.
The role
As HSE Coordinator, you will advise site management proactively and act as its sparring partner on HSE matters. You will turn complex legislation and regulations into clear procedures and help strengthen the safety culture at the production site in Enkhuizen, North Holland. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring your presence at the site every day.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policy for the site.
- Conduct internal audits and lead incident investigations.
- Manage and continuously improve the ISO 45001 management system.
- Organize training and raise safety awareness on the shop floor.
- Report regularly to site management, with clear KPIs.
- Work with HSE colleagues at other sites and contribute to regional projects.
What you bring
- At least five years’ experience as an HSE Coordinator or Supervisor in a production environment.
- Middelbare Veiligheidskunde (MVK) qualification required; Hogere Veiligheidskunde (HVK) or a technical HBO/WO degree is an advantage.
- Native-level Dutch and fluent English; both are essential.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and experience with audits and training.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage people without relying on hierarchical authority.
