HSE adviser role focused on safe, healthy working conditions at our client company in Delft. Temporary 32–40-hour contract with the possibility of permanent employment; €4,925–€6,682 gross monthly based on 38 hours.
The role
At our client company in Delft, you will work as an HSE adviser, advising on safe and healthy working conditions. You will support different parts of the organisation in assessing and managing risks, helping to prevent unsafe situations, incidents and potential harm to health.
You will advise teams at their locations and contribute to organisation-wide HSE policy. You will work with partners in safety, property and facilities management, moving between strategic, tactical and operational work. The HSE approach is being further developed and professionalised.
What you bring
- Completed training as a Higher Safety Expert (Hogere Veiligheidskundige); certification is preferred.
- At least five years of demonstrable experience with occupational safety matters; experience in large, complex organisations is preferred.
- Experience carrying out workplace risk assessments in dynamic environments; experience in research settings, such as laboratories and workshops, is preferred.
- An additional specialism in areas such as biological safety, work and organisational expertise, occupational hygiene, hazardous substances or environmental matters is an advantage.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
- You enjoy advising and building support, and are skilled in planning, organisation, research, analysis, providing information and giving instruction.
- You are comfortable working at strategic, tactical and operational levels and combine professional expertise with organisational awareness and the ability to drive change.
