The role
As Head Analyst, you will guide the analyst team and motivate colleagues to do their best. You are familiar with laboratory workflows, plan work effectively and communicate calmly with colleagues. You will contribute to the development and growth of the organisation. The position is based in Hoogeveen, Drenthe. An interest in quality management is important; knowledge of ISO 17025 is an advantage.
What you bring
- A completed higher professional laboratory qualification (HBO level) in a relevant field, such as microbiology, PCR and/or chemistry.
- Experience as an analyst; leadership experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with laboratory workflows and an interest in quality management.
- A sociable, committed and team-oriented approach, with the ability to motivate others and an interest in personal development.
- Good planning skills and the ability to communicate plans calmly to colleagues.
- Ambition to contribute to the organisation's growth.
Terms and benefits
- A temporary one-year contract, with the possibility of a permanent contract.
- At least 32 hours per week; choose a four- or five-day working week.
- Travel reimbursement of €0.21 per kilometre for travel distances of 15 km or more.
