The role
As a glass technologist at our client company, you will act as a scientific expert in glass-melting processes. You will support customers around the world and colleagues in resolving technological challenges, and lead or support several technical projects for key customers.
You will serve as a global thought leader in a specific area of glass-melting processes and support the training programme as a trainer. You will represent our client company at academic conferences with notable contributions, initiate ideas for new projects and develop them into projects backed by customers. You will also connect with, support and collaborate with academic institutes in materials and glass science, for example on PhD and postdoctoral programmes or lectures.
The role is based in Eindhoven (Noord-Brabant).
What you bring
- A master's degree in process technology, physics or chemical technology
- Fluency in English and another language; Chinese, French, German, Italian or Spanish is preferred
- Extensive experience in the glass industry or another energy-intensive production sector
