Inspect mainly imported fruit and vegetables for quality, freshness and food safety at customer sites in the western Netherlands. Work 32–40 hours a week for €3,100–€3,750 per month.
The role
At our client company, you will assess the quality, freshness and food safety of fruit and vegetable products, mainly imported produce. You will carry out inspections at several customer sites, primarily in the western Netherlands. Your base is Poortugaal, South Holland.
You will prepare quality reports in the reporting system, answer questions about product quality and advise on proper storage. Moving and checking crates is part of the job, so it involves a moderate level of physical effort. You will work closely with a close-knit team of junior and experienced advisers.
What you bring
- At least three years of experience as a quality inspector, including experience with relevant P modules.
- Experience with a quality reporting system is an advantage.
- You are comfortable with moderately physical work, including moving and checking crates.
- You live within approximately 20 km of Rotterdam or The Hague.
- You are stress-resistant, flexible and independent, and enjoy working in a team in a dynamic environment.
- You speak Dutch; English is an advantage.
- You hold a category B driving licence.
