The role
At our client company in Leiden, you will work in a laboratory as a clinical chemistry analyst with an MLO or HLO qualification. Using advanced analytical equipment, you will perform a broad range of clinical chemistry tests. Together with your team, you will carry out laboratory tests for patients.
In the HLO role, you will share responsibility for the full process, from sample receipt through reporting results. You will contribute to procedures and work instructions for the quality system (ISO 15189), as well as the development, validation and implementation of new test methods. You will also perform routine analyses and routine and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment. You will coordinate day-to-day work and be the first point of contact for fellow analysts.
What you bring
- Completed MLO or HLO education in clinical chemistry.
- For the HLO role: experience as a clinical chemistry analyst and demonstrated expertise in one analytical area.
- Knowledge of relevant work processes, quality systems, advanced analytical equipment and information systems.
- Accuracy, a results-focused approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
- The ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Good communication skills and a good command of written and spoken Dutch.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 service.
