The role
You will join our client company in IJsselstein. As a chemical process technologist, you will analyze and optimize chemical processes to improve their predictability and stability. You will coach and train production operators on quality and the chemical process.
Responsibilities
- Research new foam formulations in the chemical laboratory.
- Transfer research findings to production and recreate quality or process issues at laboratory scale.
- Initiate and lead quality and process improvement projects.
- Analyze the root causes of customer complaints and quality deviations, and define corrective actions.
- Prepare clear reports on research findings.
Schedule
The schedule is variable, and you must be willing to work a two-shift system if required.
What you bring
- A higher-education degree at HBO or WO level in chemistry or chemical technology, with an interest in process engineering.
- Good command of English; basic German is an advantage.
- Decisiveness, initiative, analytical and problem-solving skills, independence, flexibility, a results-focused approach, and technical insight.
