The role
As a chemical process technologist at our client company in Geldermalsen, you will analyze and optimize chemical processes to improve production stability and predictability. The work focuses on foam production.
What you will do
- Coach and train production operators in quality and chemical process matters.
- Research new foam formulations in the chemical laboratory and translate the findings into production.
- Investigate quality and process problems at laboratory scale.
- Initiate and lead quality and process improvement projects.
- Investigate the causes of customer complaints and quality deviations, and define corrective actions.
- Prepare clear reports on research findings.
What you bring
- A higher-education degree in Chemical Technology or Chemistry, with an interest in process engineering.
- A good command of English; basic German is an advantage.
- Decisiveness, initiative, analytical and results-focused thinking, independence, flexibility, problem-solving skills and technical insight.
- Willingness to work a two-shift schedule if required.
