The role
As the chemical laboratory group leader, you will lead the team and plan and coordinate the laboratory's work. The role combines people management with specialist knowledge of analytical chemistry. You will work in a production environment as part of a European team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the team and coordinate workload and planning.
- Ensure compliance with OHSE standards, legal requirements and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
- Manage the quality system, keep SOPs up to date, and conduct or support audits.
- Assess analytical methods, work with specific analyses, modernize existing methods and provide expert advice.
- Work closely with production, product development, a central laboratory and international laboratory teams.
- Handle personnel matters for the laboratory team.
What you bring
- Experience with laboratory accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025.
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and LIMS.
- Dutch and English language skills are required; German is an advantage.
- A people-oriented approach and affinity with a production environment.
