Chemical analyst role in Weert: 40 hours a week on a weekday day shift. Gross salary €2,750–€3,300 a month, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses.
The role
At our client company, the laboratory plays a central role: analytical results determine how physico-chemical waste streams from the chemical industry, electroplating and surface treatment are processed. You independently analyze incoming waste streams, intermediates and effluents. The role is in Weert, Limburg.
- You work with techniques including IC (ion chromatography), ICP-OES, COD, ammonia (Kjeldahl/distillation), classical titrations, pH and conductivity.
- You support the acceptance of samples from incoming streams and advise production on processing options based on your results.
- You share responsibility for equipment maintenance and calibration, and accurately record results in Excel and an internal database.
What you bring
- MLO level 4 or an equivalent qualification.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Good command of MS Office, especially Excel (calculations, filtering and lookup functions).
- Good spoken and written Dutch.
- You follow procedures, work neatly and carefully, and critically review your own analytical results. You are responsible, organized and precise.
- An affinity with waste processing or experience in an industrial laboratory is an advantage, but not essential.
